  • The fuel injector control module (FICM) tells the injector when and how much fuel to deliver to the engine cylinder. A failing FICM may cause starting issues, misfires, loss of power, and poor fuel economy. It may also trigger your Check Engine light.
  • The FICM is a common "pattern failure" part on the 6.0L Power-stroke Diesel. Common concerns when failure occurs are no starts, hard starts, and rough engine operation when cold. These symptoms are often accompanied by codes P0611, P1378 and possibly all (8) injector low circuit codes (P0261, P0264, P0267, P0270, P0273, P0276, P0279 & P0282).
